They create baskets and flower holders using local materials like bamboo and kakawate branches, which are then sold at the Calinog Public Market and outside the Calinog Cemetery during important occasions like All Saints' and All Souls' Days.
The town's agricultural and floral landscapes are influenced by the 59 barangays that make up the municipality. Irrigation pipes and agroforestry support facilities, for example, help Barangays Caratagan and Marandig increase their ability to engage in sustainable farming and floriculture. The construction of this infrastructure demonstrates Calinog's commitment to fusing floral culture with environmentally friendly farming methods, guaranteeing a harmonious coexistence of custom and conservation.
