Lakewood is a municipality in Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, established on November 11, 1977, through Presidential Decree No. 1236. It was formed by separating several barangays from the municipalities of Kumalarang and Lapuyan. The town is named after Lake Wood, a large lake located at the foot of Mt.
